This original Showman's wagon presents a rare opportunity to acquire a characterful restoration project with many original features still in place. The wagon retains an extensive timber interior with fitted cabinetry, built-in seating, storage cupboards and decorative etched glass panels throughout.
Inside, the wagon features original wood panelling, fitted cabinets with etched glass doors, a cast-iron stove, built-in drawers and cupboards, bench seating with under-seat storage, original light fittings and patterned carpet. Much of the interior joinery remains intact, showcasing the craftsmanship and detailing of the period.
Externally, the wagon shows signs of age and long-term storage, with weathered paintwork, surface corrosion to metalwork, moss and algae growth, and a worn canvas roof covering. Decorative carved corner brackets are still present, and the original chassis and drawbar remain with the wagon.
This is a genuine restoration project, offering the chance to preserve and restore an increasingly uncommon piece of traditional Showman's history.
