Our template is flexible enough to offer almost any layout imaginable and as every wagon is bespoke to order the potential to personalise each and every part of it within the standard features above is immense. However, we do offer a range of optional features too.

'OFF GRID '

Your wagon is built ready to live in - it can be plugged into existing site services for electricity, mains water, sewage and gas as standard or, if required, it can also be adapted to be entirely 'off-grid' with its own water supply, sewage tanks, gas cylinder storage, generator with inverter and auto-start, even a remotes solar array plugged into the inverter. Park up anywhere and enjoy hot water, heating, showers and cooking instantly.

Particularly suitable for temporary sites like floodplains, where summer use is possible but winter flooding makes permanent structures impossible. It is entirely portable behind a suitable vehicle as and when necessary.

HARDWOOD WINDOWS, DOORS AND FURNITURE

As standard all our windows, doors and furniture are crafted using hand-picked softwoods. Treated with 2 coats of solvent based wood preservative, then 2 coats of Zinsser 'Bin' before oil-based 'Weathershield' undercoat and 2 coats of 'Weathershield' gloss as standard giving excellent protection and many years of use if a decent maintenance programme is followed. However, if an unpainted finish is preferred then we can offer hardwood windows and doors. We prefer to use marine salvage for our tropical external hardwoods and have sourced timber from the deck of the Arc Royal. Alternatively we do have some French oak available.

As standard internal walls and ceilings are lined in either softwood tongue and grooved timber or panelled birch-faced plywood for painting or varnishing as preferred. However, you can have your wagon panelled in a range of different styles. Currently we are very pleased to be able to offer solid London Plane panelling and furniture - in stock now. We can also offer a variety of veneers to match almost any wood.

We supply Beech block kitchen worktops as standard with routed drainers over a Belfast sink - we can offer marble or granite, or a range of other hardwoods suitable for use in kitchens.

Fireplaces surrounds are built from Pine as standard. Oak, Plane or reclaimed tropical hardwoods are also available.

WOOD-BURNING STOVE

Hobbit Stove as standard in tiled recess with pine surround and mantle with mirror over.

Reclaimed authentic stoves are available for both cooking and heat. We have a large salvage supply chain and always watch out for useful items for our wagons and can source almost anything you require. 

Mantles and surrounds are extremely customisable, we offer a variety of timbers and even reclaimed Victorian tiles for the hearth and inset.

FIXTURES & FITTINGS

Brass switches, lighting fittings, sockets and door and window furniture as standard, however, reclaimed vintage fixtures and fittings are available. We have an excellent supply of marine salvage light fittings, antique window and door furniture and also cupboard catches and latches.

LAYOUTS

We suggest a number of different layouts but we will always try to accommodate your own preferences to suit your requirements. The footprint offers numerous opportunities to fit your own preferred layouts and we welcome your own designs and suggestions. Our in-house design Engineer can produce 3D layouts of your design to assist your decisions.

Doors, windows and partitions can all be moved to suit your own ideas and preferences. Many layouts will not attract further costs. Contact us to discuss.
